<h2 style="font-weight: 400; color: #1d70b7;"><a name="Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)"></a>Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601)</h2>
<p style="color: #222222;">This visa lets you visit Australia:</p>
<ul style="color: #222222;">
<li>to visit or for business visitor purposes</li>
<li>enter as many times as you want, for up to a year</li>
<li>and stay up to three months for each visit.</li>
</ul>
<p style="color: #222222;">If eligible to apply for <a style="color: #003366;" href="http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/601.aspx?tab=1&amp;heading=how-to-apply">online applications</a>​, you will need to pay a service fee of AUD20.​​</p>
<p>Your ETA lets you enter Australia for up to three months at a time as a tourist or for business visitor purposes. Business visitor activities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>making general business or employment enquiries</li>
<li>investigating, negotiating, signing or reviewing a business contract</li>
<li>activities carried out as part of an official government-to-government visit</li>
<li>participating in conferences, trade fairs or seminars, as long as you are not being paid by the organisers for your participation.</li>
</ul>
<p>If you want to stay longer in Australia, you should apply another type of visa, such as a Visitor visa (subclass 600).</p>
<h4 style="font-weight: 400; color: #003366;">Eligible passports</h4>
<p style="color: #222222;">To apply, you must hold a passport issued by one of the countries or regions listed below. If you hold a non-citizen passport or other travel document, such as a Certificate of Identity, you are not eligible to apply for an ETA.</p>

<h2 style="font-weight: 400; color: #1d70b7;"><a name="eVisitor"></a>eVisitor (subclass 651)</h2>
<p>This visa lets you visit Australia:</p>
<ul>
<li>to visit or for business visitor purposes</li>
<li>for up to three months at a time within a 12-month period.​</li>
</ul>
<p style="color: #222222;">​​​​​​This is a free visa.​</p>
<p>You must be outside Australia when you lodge your application for an eVisitor. You do not need to visit an immigration office and you will not receive a stamp or label in your passport. However, you will be given a confirmation for your records.</p>
<p>You may be eligible for an eVisitor if you:</p>
<ul style="color: #222222;">
<li>intend to visit Australia only temporarily and for tourism or business visitor purposes</li>
<li>are outside Australia</li>
<li>hold an eVisitor-eligible passport</li>
<li>are free of tuberculosis when you enter Australia</li>
<li>have not been convicted of an offence or offences for which the total sentence is more than 12 months (whether or not the sentence has been served).</li>

<h2 style="font-weight: 400; color: #1d70b7;"><a name="Working Holiday Visas"></a>Working Holiday Visas (subclass 417)</h2>
<p style="color: #222222;">The Working Holiday visa (subclass 417) is a temporary visa for young people aged between 18 and 30 who want to holiday and work in Australia for up to a year. It is a temporary visa that encourages cultural exchange and closer ties between Australia and eligible countries.</p>
<p> <strong style="font-weight: bold;">First Working Holiday visa</strong>: You must be outside Australia when you apply for your first Working Holiday visa and when the visa is decided.</p>
<p style="color: #222222;"><strong style="font-weight: bold;">Second Working Holiday visa</strong>: To be eligible for a second year, you must first undertake 3 months regional work in a job specified by the government. If you apply in Australia, you must be in Australia when the visa is granted. If you apply outside Australia, you must be outside Australia when the visa is granted.</p>
<p style="color: #222222;">To apply for this visa, you must hold a valid passport from a country involved in the Working Holiday Program with Australia. Eligible countries are:</p>

<p>Similar to the 417 Working Holiday Visa mentioned above, however it is only for people from the following countries:</p>

Only citizens from the US can apply online and there are a number of conditions an applicant must meet before being granted this visa which differ to the 417. <p><span style="color: #222222;">This visa aims to enhance international relations and cultural exchange by allowing persons to share cultural, social experiences, knowledge and skills in the Australian community through cultural enrichment, community benefits or youth exchange programs.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #222222;">You can apply for this visa if you have been invited by an approved Special Program sponsor to participate in an approved youth exchange, cultural enrichment or community benefit program.</span></p>
